　　No matter what your degree， or where you got it from， graduation is always going to be a time to celebrate your achievements and give yourself a well deserved pat on the back。

　　From turning up in fancy dress to jumping in a fountain， graduation traditions around the world range from the weird to the wonderful。
　　世界各地的畢業傳統五花八門，有穿搞怪服裝的，有跳噴泉里的，真是無奇不有。

　　1。 The United States Air Force Academy， Colorado
　　1、美國科羅拉多州：美國空軍學院

　　The USAFA famously lays claim to the ‘hat toss’ tradition adopted by so many other universities。 Combined with a spectacular flypast， theirs is still the original and best。
　　扔帽子的傳統最早是從美國空軍學院開始的，其他大學都是效仿他們的。加上精彩的飛行表演，他們的畢業典禮不僅經典，而且還是最好的。

　　2。 University of Bristol， UK

　　Graduands at Bristol are unusual in that they don‘t wear mortarboards at all， because once， according to legend， too many got thrown from Brunel’s Clifton Suspension Bridge， and it was deemed a ‘hazard’。
　　布里斯托大學的畢業典禮很特別，他們學不戴士帽，因為傳說有一次有很多學生的學士帽從克里夫頓懸索橋上飛下來，他們覺得太危險了。

　　At the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge， a fur-lined hood is worn， traditionally across the shoulders （not over the head！）。 Part of the ceremony is also conducted in Latin， to the general bemusement of most students。
　　牛津大學和劍橋大學的學生會戴一條毛邊頭巾，按照傳統是披到肩上（而不是戴到頭上！）。畢業典禮中有些講話是用拉丁語講的，大部分學生都是不知所云。

　　At Stanford， California， graduating students wear a lurid pink and orange stole instead of the traditional hood。
　　在加利福利亞洲的斯坦福大學，畢業的學生不戴傳統的連領帽，而是掛一條艷麗的粉紅加橙色的長帶子。

　　At this Japanese art school， you can wear anything you want， which annually whips media outlets into a frenzy。 The annual ceremony has become so famous that TV crews turn up each year to see what the students are wearing。
　　在這所日本大學的畢業典禮上，學生想穿什么都可以，所以每年都讓不少媒體為之瘋狂。他們一年一度的畢業典禮非常有名，電視臺每年都派人去拍學生的裝扮。

　　Not their actual graduation robes， but still， they look rather quirky。

　　The graduation at Yale last year was a rather blue event， as students donned protective plastic kagools in the drizzle。
　　耶魯大學去年的畢業典禮簡直是放眼一片藍，因為那天在下毛毛雨，學生都披上了雨衣。

　　After graduation at NYU， students like to cool off by jumping in New York’s Washington ** fountain， still wearing their full regal purple academic dress。
